Overnight trips allow you to feel totally immersed in the wild beauty of Yukon Island and Tutka Bay. No experience is necessary, and all instruction and equipment is provided by your able guides.  Contact us or make your reservation on-line.

Eldred Passage Overnight

 

$375 (does not include tax or gratuities -for family rates, group rates, kids under 14 years old, please call us).

Day 1: paddle around the island exploring coves, sea otters, and eagle's nests. Camp will be set up at the water's edge with beach walking easily accessible.

 

Day 2: Spend the second day in Tutka Bay or Sadie Cove, famous for steep snow capped mountains that descend dramatically to the water.

Delicious meals will be prepared by your guide.

 

Trip includes: All kayak equipment and instruction, all camping gear, guide, water taxi and delicious meals prepared by your guide.

This trip leaves Homer at 10 am and return to Homer the next day at 5:30 pm.

Land & Sea 3 to 6 Day Trip

 

$495/person for 3 days (does not include tax or gratuities). $150/person each additional day (for family rates, group rates, kids under 14 years old, please call us).

Day 1: Spend the day exploring sea otters, eagles, and other wildlife of Yukon Island. Set up camp at water's edge of Tutka Bay where your guide will prepare your dinner.

 

Day 2: Continue kayaking deeper into 8 mile long Tutka Bay gaining views of hanging glaciers and waterfalls and cross impressive salmon runs. You also will have an option of taking a short hike up to see spectacular views of Kachemak Bay.

 

Day 3: Spend the day paddling, returning to base camp in time to unpack and water taxi to Homer by 5:30pm.

 

Trip includes:  All kayak equipment and instruction, all camping gear, guide, water taxi and delicious meals prepared by your guide.

If you would like an adventure in comfort or to add a luxurious night to your tent camping trips we have several cabin rental options available. These can be added to any guided trip or kayak rental.

What to Bring

 

● 2­-3 pairs of thick socks

● Long underwear top and bottoms

● Quick dry shorts

● Quick dry pants

● Insulating Jacket

● Rain Coat and Pants

● Billed hat

● Warm hat

● Gloves

● Hiking Boots

 

For Cabins Bring: You bring your own sleeping bag, drinking water, food for dinner, breakfast and picnic lunch for your hike. Cabins have all pots, pans and dishes, washing water, propane and beds with sleeping pads.

 

For Yurts Bring: Sleeping bag, drinking water and camp kitchen. Yurts have mattresses and a wood stove.
