This popular trip is perfect for most, whether you’re a family looking for an adventure or an experienced paddler! We circumnavigate Yukon Island (weather permitting), paddling through craggy rock arches while keeping an eye out for eagles and otters.

Spring, summer, and fall are all wonderful times to visit this beautiful area. We begin with a 25-minute scenic boat ride to our base camp on Yukon Island, where you gear up, receive shoreside instruction, and then set off paddling with your guide.

Our guides are trained naturalists who have a deep passion for Kachemak Bay, its history, culture, and rich marine life and geology. Learn about this unique ecosystem as you enjoy a fun day of paddling.
