WATER’S EDGE CABIN RENTAL – HALIBUT COVE

Quick Details

Per Night (Up to 7)
$250

Rent a Cabin on the Water in Halibut Cove

Water’s Edge is a remote rental house located in Halibut Cove Lagoon, across Kachemak Bay from Homer. It has trail access to the Kachemak Bay State Park Ranger Station, the Coalition Trail, and trails to China Poot Lake and China Poot Peak.

The lagoon is a beautiful and protected place to kayak or SUP (stand-up paddle board). For more experienced kayakers, it’s possible to ride the tide out to the Saltry Restaurant in the artist’s village of Halibut Cove, which is about 4.5 miles away.

The main cabin has two bedrooms — one with a king-size bed upstairs, and one with a queen-size bunk bed downstairs. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. There is running cold water in the sink and a portable solar shower available.

The property also has a small cabin with a queen bed in one room and a twin bed in the main room. This would be perfect for older kids or another small family.

We can rent you kayaks and/or SUPs for your water adventures during your stay. Cabin access is tide dependent.
